I just got back on Friday from Girls Camp at Heber Valley Camp. It was so fun! Sadly, my camera ran out of batteries towards the beginning of the trip and I was so caught up in camp spirit that I neglected to replace them. Speaking of camp spirit however.... I won the Camp Spirit award!! I was also given the master poetess award as I spent the whole week speaking in rhyme. Since I am a fourth year, I was able to be a tent (cabin this year) leader and I got a camp name! The name we gave our cabin was Blue Fringe (thanks dad!). It turned out really cute and everyone was proud to be a fringe! My camp name was Bumble Bee because I "spread the nectar of love and joy". I'm kind of upset to be back in the real world. My family and I went back up to Heber Valley Camp the next day for our family reunion and I was very disappointed to learn that they don't sing camp songs.... Anyway, I'm happy my lazy summer can finally begin!
Sounds like you had fun! That blue fringe idea really is good. That's good enough to be like a YW theme, I think.
ReplyDeletehey you never told me the story of how blue fringe came to be :) it was way fun! :)
